Chapter nine is an interesting chapter that explores the ideals and relations between humans and virtual worlds and how quickly they are becoming submerged together. The technology that is colliding these two worlds together is doing it in a very efficient way.  One explanation presented as to why this interaction has grown and continues to is because of the quickness, simplicity, and accessibility of the technology that is used. People are finding that the socialization factor that they experience when they do conventional activities that people participate in are just as readily available online with similar or more exciting experiences. The virtual human is a cultural identity that is fairly new to the world and is continually being explored even now.  The advancement of technology I think is great for human social advancement. With technology providing people more ways, faster ways, and more efficient ways to communicate I think nothing but good can come out of it.
